Have you copied your sequentially-numbered mp3 files onto your USB device and then been surprised to find that they play out of order on your car stereo? You might need to sort the device’s file allocation table…First:
sudo apt install fatsort
Then something like this:
sudo fatsort /dev/mmcblk0p1
